InflationRPG Reality

Of course I was wrong about this game...  In my first post I assumed that this game wouldn't be that great and it would draw me in for an hour at most...  I thought it was a game that was poking fun at all the other progress games..  Oh how wrong I was... 

This is basically another near idle game in the Android marketplace. The battles are idle,  but you have control over your characters walking and upgrades. The numbers overall for experience and upgrades are hiked up way too high,  but the upgrades are still linear and the game offers a lot of replayability value.  Especially considering the fact that on the first couple tries you'll be flaunting around hoping you don't mess up too bad.

Overall this game is really fun. It surprised me with its addictiveness and I'm still playing it now.

InflationRPG Pregame Thoughts

Today I will be trying another Android game called InflationRPG. It's a timed rpg game where your goal is to collect as much xp, health, and items as possible.

It's basically an arcade rpg game made with the goal of entertaining and poking fun at all the rpg games where your maximum level is set incredibly high and games where you can get xp so easily it's not even funny..  Another beautiful menu screen though!

Pixel Dungeon and Dark Souls

People have made the comparison between Pixel Dungeon and Dark Souls,  and some of them even tried to say that Pixel Dungeon is the harder game out of the two. I've played both of the games, and I have to be honest. This game is nowhere near the difficulty of Dark Souls. 

This game gives you the ability to think things through because it's a turn based game, whereas Dark Souls will kill you again and again without any warning or time to think. This game will kill you many times when you don't expect anything to happen, but it's not nearly as bad.. 

As you can see from the screenshot, I was able to reach level 5 after 16 tries, which I don't consider to be that bad..  Of  course in the age of paying to complete a game when you can't beat it,  this game would seem to be hard,  but it doesn't deserve being compared to Dark Souls or any old style game..

Flappy Bird Rage

Flappy bird.. another rage inducing one touch smartphone game that rose to the top of the charts in days, and will fall from the top just as fast.

The purpose of the game is to maneuver a bird in between randomly generated green, mario-looking like pillars and going in between as many of them as you can.. this seems like it should be easy for a bird, but you're a bird with problems and you can't fly normally.. you have to tap to fly up a little bit and then you start falling and you have to tap a little bit more.. 

The thing about this game is that it seems so easy and the fact that you know you could've done so much better keeps you coming back to play another round again and again. However you better get used to seeing that Game Over screen because it won't be going anywhere for a while..

Oh.. did I mention that you can't actually win the game? It's just a competition between friends? Okay I'm done now..

Alien Shooter Is Out For Android!

Heyguys! I am so excited right now because one of my favorite childhood games (yes I was a violent child) is out on android! It's an old school top down down shooter. The game has two game modes. Campaign and infinite survival. In campaign you play as either a man or a woman (your choice) and you infiltrate a secret compound and try to figure out where the aliens are coming from, all while defeating hordes of aliens, finding secrets, and upgrading your extensive arsenal of weapons and inventory. 

The game gets more and more fun as you go so if you play the demo you might not get the same enjoyment as from the actual game because the later levels with waves of monsters after monsters and no time to rest are the ones that really make your heart pound.

The game is $2.99 on google play and it is well worth it's price. There's a demo available to download, but it only has one level you can play. If you can't decided whether to buy it or not, then download the demo and see for yourself what an amazing game this is!
